Why this site exists
Most land calculators stop after returning a number. AcreSketch is designed around the next question: what does that number mean for the project you are trying to plan?
The site focuses on measuring land, separating total area from usable open space, checking whether a real-size footprint fits, and turning the same property measurements into practical outdoor project estimates.
What we do not replace
We do not provide legal surveys, title opinions, zoning approvals, engineering designs or permit determinations. The site is a planning aid that helps users arrive at better questions and better preliminary estimates.
How calculations are presented
We aim to show assumptions, formulas and limitations instead of hiding them behind a result. When a problem cannot be solved accurately from the information provided, the tool should ask for the missing measurement rather than inventing an answer.
